# How to Register your First project on FortiChain ### Step 1 — Lau**nch** the FortiChain App First things first, head over to the landing page and click on “**Launch App**.”
Next, choose your role as **Project Owner**.
If you want to skip the extra clicks, there’s a shortcut: just scroll down to the bottom of the landing page and hit “**Launch App** ” under Project Owner.
The moment you make your choice, FortiChain will take you straight to the **Welcome Page** of your dashboard. This is your starting point, think of it as your home base where everything else begins. *** ### Step 2 — Access the Project Owner Dashboard When you land on the **Welcome Page**, FortiChain will ask you to **connect your wallet**.\ This action allows you to fund projects, manage escrows, and tie everything back to your on-chain identity.

Don’t forget to approve the connection from your wallet extension or app.\

*** ### Step 3 — Register Your First Project Now that your dashboard is unlocked, your first stop is the **Overview Tab**. This page gives you a quick snapshot of your activity.
To actually submit a project, head over to the **Upload Project** tab on the menu. Here, you’ll need to: 1. **Fill out the multi-step form**\ Provide your project details: name, description, repository link, and smart contract address. * Accuracy here is key: the clearer your summary, the easier it is for security researchers to understand and engage with your project. * Pay extra attention to setting a deadline and priority level. {% hint style="info" %} Deadlines keep your audit on track. Priority tells researchers how urgent or critical the project is to you. {% endhint %}
2. **Fund the project**\ Now it’s time to fund your project. Each project type has its own minimum bounty requirement, so check the table below to see where yours fits.

Once you set your bounty, the funds will move from your connected wallet into FortiChain’s secure escrow account.\ \ This ensures rewards are only disbursed once a validator confirms valid vulnerabilities. {% hint style="info" %} **Note:** FortiChain currently supports USDC only for funding. USDC is chosen because it maintains a stable value, protecting both you and researchers from crypto price swings. {% endhint %}
3. **Review and finalize**\ As a final checkpoint, a **summary screen** will display all the details you’ve entered. * If everything looks good, hit **Upload** to complete your registration. * If not, click "**Make Changes"** to adjust and then re-upload.\
